Please join me in welcoming our new Chapter Liaison, Veronica McGurrin!
Hi all! My name is Veronica McGurrin (she/her) and I am incredibly excited to be the newest Co-Chapter Liaison for ArLiSNAP! I am in my third year (and final semester!) of a Dual Master’s Program in Art History and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, I am writing my art history thesis in which I am investigating British artist Tom Phillips’ theories of ornament as a modern art, particularly focusing on his renowned artist’s book A Humument: A Treated Victorian Novel.
The fast few years, I have worked as a Research Assistant in the Sloane Art Library and the Visual Research Library, both at UNC, as well as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Art and Art History. I have also held internships at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Library as well as a Scholarly Communications internship position at Duke University Libraries.
I have been a member of ARLIS/NA since my first semester and I am very excited to get more involved through this role! Please feel free to reach out to me at any time!
