Internship Opportunity: Archival Internship, Boo-Hooray, NYC

Do you like the smell of old books and rare print material? Yeah? Boo-Hooray is a company focused on the archiving, processing, and placement of post-war sub-cultural ephemera related to art, music, and theatre. We occasionally curate exhibitions and produce publications related to archives that we’ve worked on.

We’re currently accepting applications for summer internships. The ideal candidate is someone who’s interested in deeply researching materials and is very organized. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work independently as well as with a team. It’s not necessary but helpful to have an interest in punk music, esoteric weirdness, and exotica. Light art handling skills aren’t required but also helpful. The position would require availability of 2 to 3 days a week, M-F.
