Under general direction of the Chief Librarian, the Library Archivist appraises, acquires, accessions, arranges, describes, preserves, and makes available records (multi-format) of archival value; provides reference service to readers wishing to access the archival holdings and recommends policies and procedures for the use, storage and preservation of multi-format collections.
In support of digital collections, the incumbent works in collaboration with the Digital Scholarship Unit to determine workflows and approaches to digital collections development.
