Below is a call for moderators for the upcoming ARLIS/NA 42nd annual conference. This is a great opportunity for students and new professionals to become involved in the conference. Sign up via the link below before the December 20th deadline!
The Program Committee is now accepting applications from those interested in moderatinga session at the ARLIS/NA 42nd annual conference to be held in Washington, DC May 1-5, 2014. The deadline for moderator applications is Friday, December 20, 2013.
Moderators coordinate sessions approved by the conference program committee, introduce speakers, work with speakers to ensure that they will present in the time allotted, coordinate with the conference planners to obtain appropriate AV equipment, collaborate with presenters to develop questions for the session, and lead the Q&A section of the session. Moderators will also be involved in gathering session content post-conference for inclusion in conference proceedings.
To be considered as a moderator, please click the link below and complete the brief online application form. You will be asked to provide contact information, and tell us in a few sentences why you are interested in volunteering as a session moderator.
