ARLIS Western New York will hold its Fall 2013 meeting on October 3-4 at the Watson Homestead Conference and Retreat Center.

On October 17 the Ontario Chapter will host a panel discussion titled “Social Media and Creative Research: A panel discussion between Artists and Information Professionals.”

“Remediating the Avant-Garde: Magazines and Digital Archives,” at Princeton University on October 25-26, will “explore the conceptual and practical ground where traditional area studies, art history, periodical studies, digital humanities, computer science, and library and information science converge.”

Applications for the 2014 ARLIS/NA Wolfgang M. Freitag Internship Award are now being accepted. The deadline is October 31.
