The Director of Development will envision and implement a comprehensive fund-raising program able to sustain and strengthen the Center for Creative Photography’s (CCP) relationship with existing individuals and donors, and create initiatives that will attract significant new prospects to help reach the Center’s goals. Management of a comprehensive program to secure major gifts of private support includes foundation and corporate giving, personal and planned giving, board relations, and prospect cultivation. Incumbent will play critical role in providing CCP Director with the guidance necessary to develop (or solicit) major gift donors and will strengthen and engage the CCP Board in a significant way. Incumbent will manage and report on all corresponding financials, in compliance with UA Foundation and UA Development Office policies. This position is managed jointly by The University of Arizona Libraries and the Development Office which is managed under contract by the University of Arizona Foundation.
This position will require travel on a regular basis throughout Arizona and other regions including overnight stays. The Director of Development will be required to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary to cultivate and solicit donor prospects.
