  1. If anyone has any questions concerning this position, please let me know. This is my current position, which I am leaving to enter a career in archiving.

  2. Hi Emily,
Thanks for offering to answer questions. I took a look at your Facebook page for the library and it looks like you’ve done a great job keeping students up to date. However, I can’t find any information about the library on the NYFA web site. Would I be able to come to take a look at your library? Also, do you have any idea on what the salary range would be for your position for an experienced (8 years and counting) librarian? Just a rough range is what I’m looking for.

    Thanks,
    Shawna

  3. Hello Emily,
Great job on the facebook page! This sounds like an exciting position. I was also wondering if there is more information about the library on the NYFA website. Any other advice or comments you might have would be appreciated.

    Thanks much,
    Antoinette

  4. There are multiple locations for New York Film Acadmey (NYFA), but only a couple have libraries (which is why there is limited information on the website). There are four areas of study at NYFA: screenwriting, filmmaking, producing, and acting. Therefore, it is important to be familiar with one of these backgrounds. Unfortunately, I am unable to give a pay range (it will be based on experience). Hope this information helps!

  5. Hi, I just saw a librarian position for NYFA posted on Sept. 9th via LibGig and was looking for more information since the posting was vague. Is this the same position? It looks like it was just filled in June, but this posting is from September. I would love to apply but I would not want to waste your time if the position is closed.
