What are your thoughts on del.icio.us/arlisnap? It is great for sharing bookmarks, but isn’t as easy to navigate as it could be, especially when the links are sorted by most recent date. Is anyone having difficulty locating ArLiSNAP resources?
I am not a fan of del.icio.us in terms of its usability. Shortly after I started tagging my links I moved from del.icio.us to blinklist. I like it a lot better – the links are displayed on the right side of the screen, while the left portion of the screen allows you to toggle between “favorites,” “popular,” “recent,” and “my cloud.” They allow you to use a quick start page which might be useful in cutting down on the confusion we’re having with del.icio.us . . .
I like that blinklist is more flexible. I definitely like arlisnap.blinklist.com. I definitely do not like http://www.blinklist.com/arlisnap (it’s confusing with all the adverts). Thanks Carter for the suggestion, and thanks Macken for implementing a prototype. Would we be able to import like we do with del.icio.us?

I imported our links into blinklist to see what you think:
http://www.blinklist.com/arlisnap
also compare to arlisnap.blinklist.com (the blinklist space), which seems to have fewer ads.

Blinklist doesn’t offer automatic posts like del.icio.us, but we can make it a feed on the sidebar.
Here is a link to arlisnap on Furl: http://www.furl.net/members/arlisnap
It is much easier to sort and search on furl, but it does not offer automatic blog posts, just RSS.
n.b. This is just a test! We will continue to use del.icio.us officially until further notice. :)
